Adviser's Support Team

After taking a career break to have children, Louise decided to change direction and in 2008 she took the exams needed to qualify as a Financial Adviser. She joined Finance Shop in January 2009 and, after initially working as an Adviser dealing in investments and pensions, Louise moved to our Norwich office in September 2010 to work as a Personal Assistant to Nick Buchan. Louise is now Team Leader to Nick’s PA’s and administration support staff.

Lucas joined the Finance Shop team in April 2023 as a Trainee Personal Assistant after graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Economics. After graduating, Lucas worked in various hospitality settings across East Anglia before deciding that it was time to pursue a career relating to his degree. Lucas is eager to expand his knowledge and is keen to develop his understanding of the financial services industry.

 Outside of work, Lucas enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing and watching a variety of sports, especially football.

Jasmine joined Finance Shop as a Trainee Personal Assistant in September 2024, following the completion of her Literature Degree at the University of East Anglia.

Jasmine previously worked in a management position in retail for several years, gaining invaluable work experience. Jasmine is eager to learn more about the financial industry and building a career with Finance Shop. 

Outside of work Jasmine is an avid reader and continues to try new hobbies, pursuing all experiences with enthusiasm.

Kate joined Finance Shop in April 2016 as an Apprentice Administration Assistant after finishing a Business Administration qualification at a local college. She was keen to pursue a career within the financial services industry at Finance Shop. After completing her apprenticeship and training, Kate was promoted to Personal Assistant to Scott Oliver.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys socialising with her friends and family.

After having worked in hospitality for 10 years and working her way up to a supervisory role, Gemma decided it was time to change career paths and try something new. She is looking forward to pursuing a career in finance, starting with the Trainee Personal Assistant position. Gemma hopes to work her way up, gaining as much knowledge as possible along the way.

Outside of work, Gemma likes to spend quality time with family and friends and in particular enjoys going on holidays, to concerts and out for meals.

After completing her college studies, Evie worked in both the hospitality sector and Careline services, gaining valuable experience. However, she decided it was time for a change and is eager to acquire financial knowledge. Evie is now working as a Trainee Personal Assistant and hopes to advance her career in the finance sector.

In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, going on outings as well as relaxing at home.”

Michelle has been working in the financial sector since 1990, having previously worked for a building society. After taking a career break to bring up her two children, she joined Finance Shop in 2011.

Michelle has undertaken various roles since joining, but in 2017 she helped set up FS Ventures, which she continues to look after and is expanding year on year.

In her spare time she enjoys Kettlercise, Boxing, Metafit and going to the gym and getting out on the golf course.

Tina has worked in financial services for thirteen years gaining experience in mortgages and business banking. Tina is keen to widen her skills and knowledge within the industry.

In Tina's spare time she enjoys cycling around Norfolk and hiking in the Lake District

Tori joined Finance Shop in November 2017 after graduating from an Executive PA Diploma course in Oxford, as an alternative to going to University. Tori works as one of Nick Buchan’s Personal Assistants, supporting Nick with the preparation and arrangement of financial planning for his Discretionary Portfolio Management clients.

In Tori’s free time she plays hockey for her local hockey club and enjoys playing tennis with friends.
