About Women's Cricket In Norfolk
Women & Girls Cricket is evolving day by day with more women and girls playing cricket nationally than ever before.
The success of the England National Team in recent Ashes Series and World Cups had made a big impact at all levels from the National to Club Teams.
This has also been aided by increased awareness for women's sport creating more opportunities, more sponsorship, more media coverage, the Chance to Shine Programme including ambassadors who regularly attend club and school sessions and much much more!
The Norfolk Ladies First Team play in fully accredited ECB Competitions against other first-class and minor counties.
In addition to this, the NCB run successful girls teams at U13 & U15 level and re-introduced an U17 side ahead of the 2017 season. These teams are now stronger than we have ever had before with Norfolk sides regularly competing well against full first-class counties.
